Polar Bear Blog – Ice bears and a Little Family
Well, it is peak bear season right now so another good day to be in Buggyland with Churchill Wild’s Dymond Lake group. These folks had a nice mix of experience, walking with bears for a few days and enjoying lodge life then coming out and having a spectacular day on a tundra buggy. Polar Bear Blog – More snow, More bears
Slush turned to snow overnight, icing up the roads and grounding helicopters – generally making things feel more like bear season. The town tractors are out in force (as in all two have been mobilized…) spreading gravel on the roads to melt the ice a bit.
